Rajasthan Dental College & Hospital is one of the unit of NIRWAN CHARITABLE TRUST. Our high-tech Dental College has been started with aim to make higher excellence in the science of dentistry through teaching , research and service.
Our Institution functions with separate Departments for all the subjects with the high-tech practical / laboratory / clinical sections.
All the clinical departments are computerized and linked through the internet. The most advanced dental software's, diagnostic aids, the latest restorative equipments and materials keep the students in tune with the rapidly progressing dental sciences. We are doing the best by implementing innovating ideas using good faculty man power as well as deploying adequate fund with no bars.
Today a course of BDS is imparted to those who wish to take dentistry as their profession. Dentists themselves may further super specialize in Maxillo Facial Surgery, Prosthetics, Conservative Dentistry, Periodontics, Oral Pathology, Oral Medicine, Dental Radiology and Orthodontics or on Community Dentistry. We are organizing seminars, lectures, courses and camps for on hand practical training to students.
The spacious campus provides adequately for all academic, research & co-curricular activities. The campus is situated on the National Highway No. 8 i.e. Ajmer Road, Jaipur and is 20 kms from Jaipur (Capital of Rajasthan). The place is well connected by road being on the National Highway and Power, water supply and communication links are available. It is provided with spacious buildings to accommodate Reception., Administrative Office, Classrooms, Staff Rooms, Laboratories, Library, Auditoriums, Conference Halls, Examination Hall and Recreation centers for staff and students.
Well furnished hostel accommodation is provided separately for Boys and Girls. These are located with adequate open space and gardens around them within the campus. Both the hostels are having good spacious rooms with attached toilets, study tables and cupboards. More rooms can be added to meet the increasing demand from the students. Both the blocks have reading rooms with T.V.& Mess facilities etc.
Each hostel has its own mess. The management keeps strict control over mess. The management keeps strict control over hygiene and quality of food served. A Hostel Advisory Committee consisting of senior faculty members, Students representatives and Warden of the Hostels looks after the Hostels. Rooms are comfortably spacious and airy and fees have been kept at reasonable levels. Adequate security arrangements have been made to ensure their safety. The hostels are closely monitored by the residential warden.
We have our own 100 bedded hospital, which is the most modern hospital of its kind in the state of Rajasthan. It offers outstanding medical facilities as well as medical expertise to all who knock its doors. It has all modern required facilities e.g. Private rooms (air-cooled), ICU, Special care neo-natal Unit, Operation Theatre, wards, Emergency (24 hrs. service), Consultation Chambers, captive gensets,
drug stores, computer networking, orthotics and prosthetics workshop, indoor patient attendant block, cafeteria, communication centre, maintenance workshops, laundry, residential accommodation for doctors, nurses, paramedical staff, staff and patient attendant vehicle parking, resting place and sitting arrangement for attendants. The Dental College students will utilize the facilities of hospital for training in the subjects of Medicine, Surgery and Allied Medical sciences including Pre-clinical and Para- Clinical subjects.
Rules
1. In this website information regarding admissions is given only in brief. Applicants are responsible for obtaining a copy of the relevant rules governing admission tests / interviews / viva assessments from the college office and going through them carefully. The fact that a candidate applies for admission shall be taken to mean that he/she agrees to abide by the university / college rules. No litigation shall therefore be tenable.
2. The college reserves the right not to admit any candidate to a course of study even through a notification inviting applications for admission to the same been issued.
3. the management reserve the right to change, alter, amend or rescind any matter given here in this prospectus without notice or assigning any reason what so ever at any reason what so ever at any point of time, as it may deem fit and necessary. All disputes are subject to the jurisdictions of the courts of Jaipur only.
4. Ragging in any form, is a punishable offence as per rules of our college and a student for this act of indiscipline or ragging, in accordance with the above rule, is liable to a fine and he/ she will be terminated from the college. No political activity will be allowed in the college campus.
5. the College reserves the right to refuse admission to any individual without assigning any reason, as also the right not to disclose the marks scored by a candidate in any admission test/ interview / aptitude / viva assessment etc.
6. The college will be handling a large number of applications for admission every year and it is not possible to preserve the forms and relevant material for a long period. Therefore, in case of any dispute regarding admission, the matter must be filed within sixty days of the closing of admission after which such disputes shall not be entertained. In case any dispute is filed after expiry of such period, the college shall not be bound to produce admission form and other related documents.
